We are on the same wavelength. Good to find such resonance at a personal level of how we think, and also such fine, clear writing. What we primarily think about and write about is different -- your work is for taking care of ourselves I'm writing about joining together to take care of that world that you see. Mostly we get analyses of how we got where we are and Utopian ideas for how things could be, but here now, what to do, is barely considered and both of us are in that rare camp.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting! Both of these are connected, for sure, and I do approach this from both angles here and there. Good to meet you here!

Were we "made" to live in these times? No, but here we are anyway. And there's no need to invoke metaphysical BS to claim there's a reason for any of it--or any of us. So here we are, living out our little flashes of efflorescence, like lightning bugs against a dark eternal evening. So, what to do? The only claim that seems reasonable is to own the absurd! Do what Camus interpreted Sisyphus as doing as he pushed that damned rock: let go of hope and create meaning, even happiness, from the struggle.
