I was just thinking yesterday that we've lived in very stable times for our entire lives (not counting Vietnam and Watergate). It may be our turn to be a little uncomfortable. Unfortunately, that might fuck up my retirement :(

Rosana, this is brilliant, and a wonderful homage to Don Novello (aka: Father Guido Sarducci) and his Lazlo Letters. Thank you for reminding me of Novello and his alter ego, Lazlo Toth.

Trivia: Something not many people know is that Novella adopted the name Lazlo Toth from the man who vandalized Michelangelo's Pieta in 1972. That Lazlo Toth was a Hungarian geologist. Novello has stated that he was drawn to the name by its sound, not by the act of vandalism.

Thank you so much, Chris! I didn't know that. My family always loved Don Novello, and my mom thought Father Guido looked a bit like my father, Guido. ;-)
