I was just thinking yesterday that we've lived in very stable times for our entire lives (not counting Vietnam and Watergate). It may be our turn to be a little uncomfortable. Unfortunately, that might fuck up my retirement :(
Rosana, this is brilliant, and a wonderful homage to Don Novello (aka: Father Guido Sarducci) and his Lazlo Letters. Thank you for reminding me of Novello and his alter ego, Lazlo Toth.
Trivia: Something not many people know is that Novella adopted the name Lazlo Toth from the man who vandalized Michelangelo's Pieta in 1972. That Lazlo Toth was a Hungarian geologist. Novello has stated that he was drawn to the name by its sound, not by the act of vandalism.
Thank you so much, Chris! I didn't know that. My family always loved Don Novello, and my mom thought Father Guido looked a bit like my father, Guido. ;-)
I look forward to their response.
Well done!
Thank you, Nancy!!
Sheer brilliance!
Thank you!!

Yeah, they'd better not touch Social Security and Medicare!!
Or if the market crashes, there goes my IRA.
"a little uncomfortable" may be putting it mildly!
Well, yes. Still hoping for the best, while preparing for the worst.
Dear Disgruntled Customer: Just. Brilliant.
Thank you!!
Brilliant! And very sad, also here we are living the unthinkable
Gracias!! We have to laugh, even though it's so sad. BECAUSE it's so sad. 😢
Thanks for the read.
Thank you for reading!
Dear Disgruntled Customer,
Have you considered starting a class-action suit?
Great idea!!
Thanks. Can I join even if I was born here?
It’s for everyone!
